History

Bill Rice Christian Academy is an extension of the Bill Rice Ranch. The Bill Rice Ranch is a revival ministry that was founded in 1953. The most notable extension of the Ranch is its summer camping ministry. Begun in 1953 to reach the Deaf, the Ranch has grown now to reach thousands of hearing and deaf young people from around the world every summer. In addition to Middle Tennessee, the Ranch also has a camping facility in Northern Arizona as well as specialty camps on the Philippine Islands.

Bill Rice Christian Academy was established in 1993 as a ministry of the Bill Rice Ranch. The Bill Rice Ranch’s sole purpose for over fifty years has always been to give young people the help they need from the Bible. Bill Rice Christian Academy’s purpose is naturally the same, and boys and girls are given the help they need every day.

Because of the Academy’s unique location on the 1,300 acres of the Bill Rice Ranch, the students and faculty enjoy a very safe and friendly environment. This atmosphere allows the students to work and play freely without sacrificing their security.
