Extracurricular

To get a well-rounded education, learning must take place outside the classroom too.

At Bill Rice Christian Academy, extracurricular activities are fun and challenging. A small school setting allows us to do more.

Field Trips
While many schools do not take field trips anymore, Bill Rice Christian Academy takes two each year. Field trips are an excellent way to inspire learning outside the classroom.

Fine Arts Class & Competition
Bill Rice Christian Academy is a member of the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools (TACS). Each year TACS holds a fine arts competition in which our 4th-12th graders compete with other Christian school students in the areas of Bible, music, art, speech, and academics.

Theme Days
Every month brings a “Theme Day” at Bill Rice Christian Academy. Everything from Western Day to Hawaiian Day to Valentine’s Day – Theme Days bring extra life to our school.

Extended Care
The Extended Care program is designed to help parents who need child care before or after school hours. The times are 7:15-7:45 a.m. and 3:10-5:30 p.m. Students work on written homework and have free time.

Summer Camps
Our current 2nd-12th graders always enjoy an exciting week of camp at the Bill Rice Ranch! They enjoy strengthening friendships through activities, Cowboy Town, horse rides, swimming, excellent meals, and Gospel services for a full week. It’s also a good way to meet other Christian young people from outside Murfreesboro. BRCA camp week jump-starts the school year!
