Field Trips
While many schools do not take field trips anymore, Bill Rice Christian Academy takes at least two each year. In the fall, each class takes its own trip; and in the spring, the entire student body goes. Field trips are an excellent way to inspire learning outside the classroom.
Fine Arts Competition
Bill Rice Christian Academy is a member of the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools (TACS). Each year TACS holds a fine arts competition in which our 4th-6th graders compete with other Christian school students in the areas of Bible, music, art, speech, and academics.
Special Days
Every month brings a “Special Day” at Bill Rice Christian Academy. Everything from Western Day to Hawaiian Day to Valentine’s Day – Special Days bring extra life to our school.
Elementary Retreat
An overnight retreat is taken at the beginning of the year for all our 3rd-6th graders to help us kick off the school year right. We take this retreat right here at the Ranch and are joined by over a hundred other Christian elementary students from Tennessee and Alabama.
Summer Camp
Our current 2nd-6th graders always enjoy an exciting week of camp at the Bill Rice Ranch! They enjoy strengthening friendships through activities, Cowboy Town, horse rides, swimming, excellent meals, and Gospel services for a full week. BRCA camp week jump-starts the school year!
